Letter from Sue Moore (interim Chair)

Dear Friends of CAMP,

As we continue to await the written decision from OMB Member Schiller, we would like to reach out and thank the community for attending the September 16, 2015 meeting at the Alton Public Library. A big thank you as well to our legal council Eric Gillespie for attending and fielding questions.

At this time, we would like to also thank Mary Haslett for for all the work she has done for CAMP while she has been in the position of Chair of the organization.  Her efforts have not gone unnoticed, and the time she put towards the campaign is much appreciated.

CAMP is please to welcome Sue Moore as the interim Chair at this time.  Sue has been involved in CAMP since its inception in June 2013 and has continued to be engaged and active toward the campaign.  Sue’s tireless efforts have been an inspiration to the community and we are very glad she is taking the position.

As CAMP continues moving forward, we will be looking for people interested in joining the executive committee to support the organization in its efforts to preserve our community.
Please email: info@stopthemelvillepit.com if you would like to join the team!

All the best, and we look forward to seeing you at the January 20th, 2016 meeting at 7:30pm at the Alton public library.
